Marcel Proust popularized a parlor game that subsequently became know as The Proust Questionnaire. There are those who believe that, in answering these questions, you reveal your true nature. There are several variations but below is the basic set of questions.
As a writer, these thirty-five questions are an excellent tool to pose your main characters in your current WIP. Or use it on yourself. You might learn something you don’t already know.
As a bonus, come up with a few questions of your own.

- Which living person do you most despise?
- What is the quality you most like in a man?
- What is the quality you most like in a woman?
- Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
- What do you consider your greatest achievement?
- If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
